Entertaining observations here. One of my favorite double-meaning encounters happened on a trip to Germany. Someone mentioned Kennedy's famous, "Ich bin ein Berliner" statement.

A young family member laughed and said, "Didn't your president know he was calling himself a donut with jelly in its belly?"

Then we learned a berliner is a popular pastry shop item as well as a citizen of the capital.
